Simplicity is the whole of it

Physical AI · Embedded Systems · Machine Learning — Goyang, KR

In space, a single cosmic ray can flip one bit of a computer's memory.
Astronomy and computing meet inside one phenomenon — hence, bitflip

bitflip is a one-person hardware & machine-learning workshop. Machines that run in the physical world, and the intelligence that runs on them. No software that ends inside a screen.

Physical AI

Machines that perceive, decide, and act in the physical world.

perception · planning · actuation

Track record

  1. Delivered

    Apparel, on the factory floor

Introduced and settled operations software across a major apparel brand's production and logistics sites.

  2. Delivered

    Livestock, in the field

Brought software to a livestock industry association — tools used in the yard, not the office.

  3. Live

    AnTok, shipped

Co-developed and launched AnTok, a field-meeting app. Commercialization is ongoing.

  4. In the shop

    A kiosk that cleans phones

The machine on this page: spray, dry, done in under a minute. Enclosure, control board and firmware are being built now.

  5. Stopped short

    Pet genomes, imputed

Three months on a low-to-high coverage imputation model, run on rented GPUs. It never reached the accuracy the problem demanded — it did teach me where sequencing depth and compute budgets actually break.

  6. Discontinued

    A map for strays

An app for mapping stray dogs, built end to end and then shut down. Building it was the easy half.

  7. Detour

    Back to the mathematics

Walked out of a state-funded Physical AI programme when the maths outran me, and went back to learn it properly. Self-taught since, on purpose.

In the making

A kiosk that sterilizes a phone in 30 seconds.

For subway platforms and waiting rooms — the places where people pause. The design is underway, and the embedded stack is being built up to meet it.

status — in design

Phone goes in

It drops into the chamber through a slot.

01 — intake

Disinfectant mist

Nozzles fog the chamber from above.

02 — spray

Warm air, dry

Air moves across the surface until it is dry.

03 — dry

Clean, in 30 seconds

The door opens. That is the whole interaction.

04 — done

Let's make

something physical.
